چکیده

The fundamental problem with traditional network architecture is that it is static. Users don’t have much controlling power and it is just trying to accommodate current networking needs of the user. Therefore which means window for innovation is too narrow with respect to network controlling, virtualization, automation, scalability, programmability and fault tolerance. A revolutionize network technology which can put all the above aspects into practice in future networks is Software Defined Networking. In the study we review a brief history of Software Defined Networking that can help to provide evidential clarity with respect to the understanding of the new technology and more significantly, in understanding the motive that why we need Software Defined Networking.

SDN Security: A Survey

The pull of Software-Defined Network- ing (SDN) is magnetic. There are few in the networking community who have escaped its impact. As the benefits of network visibility and network device programmability are discussed, the question could be asked as to who exactly will benefit? Will it be the network operator or will it, in fact, be the network intruder? As SDN devices and systems hit the mark...

Load Balancing and Congestion Control in Software Defined Networking using the Extended Johnson Algorithm for Data Centre

Software-Defined Networking (SDN), showcases a paradigm shift from traditional network towards a new era of Internet. Distributed controllers addresses hindrances like availability and scalability which fails to provide a dynamic mechanism for load balancing. Implementation of Dynamic load balancing safe guard the network from sudden traffic congestion which could be created by data spikes or l...
